Glossary of AI chat for creators

A

Active script

A prepared scene the AI is allowed to use. Products that document this require at least two active scenes before the AI can be switched on, and switch it off again below two.

AI chat

Software that writes the replies in a creator’s private conversations and sends the paid media inside them. It is not a public chatbot on a website and fans do not know they are opening a separate product.

Anti-fraud window

The period after the AI is paused on a fan during which a sale still counts as an AI sale for billing. OnlyChat documents 30 minutes on OnlyFans. Other tools do not publish an equivalent rule.

B

BotFather

Telegram’s own bot for creating and configuring bots. Every Telegram side AI chat setup starts there, because that is where a bot and its token come from.

Business connection

The link between a Telegram bot and a personal Telegram account with the business features, which lets the bot read and answer that account’s private chats. Without it nothing is sent.

C

Commission base

The amount a tool’s percentage is computed on: gross sales, or what is left after the platform fee. Two tools quoting the same percentage on different bases do not cost the same.

Conversion per step

How many fans who received a given step paid for it. The only number that says which line of a scene to rewrite.

Cooldown

A waiting period during which no new scene can start, counted from the end of the previous one. It exists so a fan is not walked through two sales in a row.

Creator

Inside a tool, one account on one platform. The same person on OnlyFans and on Telegram is usually two creators, with two connections and two licences.

D

Discovery

The opening phase where the AI learns who the fan is, from the conversation and not from a form. Typical targets: first name, age, city, occupation, relationship status, interests.

Dropp link

On Telegram, an external payment link attached to a step instead of a price in Stars. The fan pays outside the chat and comes back.

E

Exhaustion

The state of a fan who has been through every active scene. The AI has nothing left to sell him and keeps chatting for a limited window before it stops answering. The fix is writing, not settings.

Extension

The browser add on used on the OnlyFans side to connect a creator, because OnlyFans publishes no public interface for third parties. It carries the session the AI reads and writes through.

F

Fan list

On OnlyFans, a list built on the platform and imported into the tool to decide who the AI may answer. Exclusion beats inclusion.

Fan note

The condensed memory of one fan, written from the conversation and editable by a person. It is what lets a reply refer to something said three weeks ago.

Floor

The lowest price the AI may accept on a step. It exists only if the operator set a discounted price on that step; without one, the AI holds the asked price.

Follow-up

A message sent after a silence, with a delay set by the operator. It is the difference between a scene that stops at step three and one that finishes.

Free step

A step whose price is zero. The media goes out visible. Free steps are the warm up that makes the first locked media worth opening.

G

Gross and net revenue

Gross is what the fan paid. Net is what is left after the platform’s own fee, which on OnlyFans is 20 percent of each fan payment under its Terms of Use.

H

Human takeover

A person stepping into one conversation. It has two halves: pausing the AI on that fan, and writing. On Telegram the selling half cannot be taken over, because paid content leaves through the AI.

L

Ladder

The sequence of prices across one scene, which only goes up. It is the object you tune when a scene converts too easily or not at all.

Licence

What lets one creator run the AI for a period, usually a month, billed per creator and per platform.

Locked media

A photo or video sent with a price, opened only after payment. The mechanism both platforms share, in dollars on OnlyFans and in Stars on Telegram.

M

Mass message

One message sent to a whole list at once. It is not what an AI chat tool does: a scene runs inside one conversation and starts on conditions, not on a schedule.

Media description

The written description attached to a file in the library. The AI sells what the description says, not what the file shows, so an undescribed media is the usual cause of an invented answer.

N

Nudge

A short message sent when a fan comes back online rather than after a fixed delay. Documented as a paid tier feature by the products that have it.

P

Pacing

The number of ordinary messages the AI puts between two steps, so a scene does not arrive as a catalogue. Usually a choice of three settings, not a number of minutes.

Persona

The set of fields that tell the AI who it is: identity, appearance, boundaries, habits, running jokes, plus a style for writing and a style for defending prices.

PPV

Pay per view. A media sent locked with a price. The letters are used as a noun in this industry: a PPV is the message itself.

Pre-media teaser

The line sent while a video is made to arrive after roughly its own duration, so the wait reads as recording instead of silence.

R

Rate limit

The platform asking a bot to slow down. On Telegram the messages queue and go out late rather than disappear; repeated warnings mean one account has outgrown one bot.

Re-engagement

A timed sequence sent to a fan who went quiet, with a small number of checkpoints. Distinct from a follow-up inside a running scene.

S

Script

A scene sold step by step: a name, an internal description read by the AI, and an ordered list of steps. Used once per fan, which is why writing never stops.

Script description

The internal text that tells the AI when a scene fits a conversation. Fans never see it, and it is the field that decides which scene a fan gets.

Secretary Mode

The BotFather setting that lets a bot act as the chatbot of a Telegram business account. Off by default, and a common cause of a connection that never appears.

Stars

Telegram’s in app currency for digital goods, bought through Apple, Google or Telegram’s own bot, with the currency tag XTR. A Stars price is not a dollar price.

Step

One rung of a scene: a message written by the operator, one or more media, a price, and the pacing to the next one.

Sync

On the OnlyFans side, the transfer of the creator’s session, media lists and recent history into the tool. A session that stops syncing is the most common reason an AI goes quiet.

T

Telegram Business

The set of business features on a personal Telegram account, one of which lets a bot answer private chats. It requires an active subscription, and the connection dies when that lapses.

U

Unlock rate

Locked media opened divided by locked media sent. The main quality metric of a scene, and the one figure worth comparing across two versions of the same scene.

V

Variation

A copy of a scene starting from its first paid step, kept linked to the original so the two can be compared. Used to re-pitch fans who saw the original without buying.

Vault

The library of media a scene draws from. A media that is not in it cannot be sent, whatever the fan asks for.

W

Welcome message

A sequence sent to a new subscriber before any scene starts. Documented as a paid tier feature by the products that have it.

X

XTR

The currency tag of Telegram Stars. It appears in Telegram’s payment documentation and in the invoices a bot sends for digital goods.
